We are thrilled to have Mary Kelly and Holly Hibner speak to the group on professional pursuits that we all find ourselves engaged in from time to time. Mary Kelly and Holly Hibner’s blog “Awful Library Books” has been featured in The New Yorker, the Huffington Post, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, “Q” on CBC Radio, and since 2009 has been routinely giving an online homage to books that have outlived their purpose on the library shelf.  If you’re not familiar with their blog, check it out here: http://awfullibrarybooks.net/ It’s a real treat!

After the Annual Meeting, stretch your legs and learn a bit of the Alger Estate history on a tour of the 1910 built, Italian-Renaissance style mansion with a War Memorial docent from 3:30 pm – 4 pm.

Registration may be completed online or printed and mailed to me. After filling out the registration form you will be directed to pay via PayPal or check.

Checks will be made out to MDMLG and mailed to:

    Angela Sponer
Henry Ford Hospital, Sladen Library, K-17
    2799 West Grand Blvd.
    Detroit, MI 48202

Looking forward to seeing you there!
