Register for MLA Webinar on Scoping Reviews

The Professional Development Committee has received funding from the NN/LM GMR to host the August 15 MLA webinar, “Scoping Reviews: Mapping Your Course to Success.

Site Viewing: We will be hosting a live viewing of the webinar on Tuesday, August 15 from 2:00 – 3:30pm on Oakland University’s campus. The webinar will take place in Room 225B Kresge Library, 100 Library Drive, Rochester, MI 48309. Parking is also free and abundant on campus during the summer!

Registration: To register, please complete the online registration form to either:
If you have any trouble accessing the form, please email me at swanberg@oakland.edu and we’ll get you registered.

BUT WAIT…there’s more! MLA just rolled out new webinar policies, so we received GMR funding for a site license that includes 25 MLA CE certificates. Which means that an unlimited number of people can watch the live session or view the recording, but only 25 may receive MLA CE credit. A new question on the registration form will ask you if you absolutely need, would like if available, or do not need MLA CE credits.

Due to this limitation, CE credits will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. The first 25 registrants that indicate they absolutely need MLA CE credit will receive a code to complete their evaluation and get their certificate following the webinar. As this is sponsored by MDMLG, our members will receive priority. Registration will open up to the rest of MHSLA on Wednesday, August 2, so register ASAP!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me as Chair of the Professional Development Committee.
