    MLA July Webinar: Aligning the Three Pillars of Effective Instruction -- Registration Open
    The Professional Development Committee has received funding from the NN/LM GMR to host the MLA webinar Aligning the Three Pillars of Effective Instruction: Outcomes, Teaching, and Assessment for Health Sciences Librarians on July 12, 2018 from 1:00-2:30 pm CT. (That's 2:00 pm for us EST'ers)

    Refresh and renew your instruction by learning how to connect teaching activities, learning outcomes, and assessment methods into a cohesive plan for effective teaching. Learn simple and effective ways to add assessment to your existing courses with plenty of practical tools!
    Jill Boruff, AHIP, has been a health sciences liaison librarian at the McGill University Library,Montreal, QC, Canada, since 2007. She has published on integrating evidence-based practice and information literacy skills in teaching physical and occupational therapy students.

    Registration: To register, please complete the online registration form to view the recording (good 180 days past July 12th). If you have any trouble accessing the form, please email me at turnerja1@udmercy.edu and I’ll get you registered.
     
    As with the previous MLA webinars, we received GMR funding for a license that includes 25 MLA access codes that allow individuals to log-in to their MEDLIB-ED account, watch the live webinar or recording, complete the evaluation, and claim CE certificates. 

    As a result, access codes will be provided on a first come, first served basis to the first 25 member registrants. If multiple registrants from the same institution register, you may be asked to pair up to view the webinar at your site. As this is a benefit for our membership, MDMLG members will receive CE priority. Registration for MHSLA members will open June 13th, so if you need CE's register early.
