MDMLG Informational Marketing Flyer for Students
MDMLG Informational Marketing Flyer for Librarians
Have you considered working in a Medical Library?
They have been linked on several of our MDMLG web site pages. Feel free to use these flyers with your colleagues and any librarian events you attend.

Register Now! MLA January Webinar: Applying the ACRL Information Literacy Framework to Your Teaching
The MDMLG Professional Development Committee has received funding from the NN/LM GMR to host the MLA webinar, “Applying the ACRL Information Literacy Framework to Your Teaching” on January 15, 2020 from 2:00-3:30 pm EST.
In this webinar, you’ll learn how to integrate threshold concepts into your courses, guest lectures, one-shot sessions, and any other form of teaching you do. As part of the webinar you’ll develop learning outcomes for a class assignment, and you’ll begin to integrate threshold concepts into your instruction using active learning strategies and classroom assessment techniques.
Learning Outcomes -- By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
•Apply strategies to integrate threshold concepts into their instruction
•Employ a set of best practices to develop learning outcomes.
•Identify techniques to assess student progress in mastering information literacy concepts
Registration: To register for the live event or to view the recording, please complete the online registration form. We will not be hosting a live viewing of the webinar.
As per usual, access codes will be provided on a first come, first served basis to the first 25 member registrants. If multiple registrants from the same institution register, you may be asked to pair up to view the webinar at your site. As this is a benefit for our membership, MDMLG members will receive CE priority.
If you have any questions, please contact Ella Hu, member of the MDMLG Professional Development Committee, at email@example.com (313) 577-8943.
