Program and Professional Development Committee would like to invite you to an
informal, social networking event on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at the Berkley Common restaurant.
We have reserved one of their outdoor cabanas from 4:30pm-8:00pm so people can
drop in as their schedule allows.

Register Now for MLA’s October Copyright Webinar!
Good morning MDMLG,
We have received funding from NN/LM Region 6 to host the MLA
Picture This! Exploring
Copyright Issues Through Image Use Case Studies
- Date/Time: Thursday, October
6, 2022, 2:00pm – 4:00pm EST.
- If you can’t attend the live webinar, a
recording will be available for viewing within 180 days
Registration: We will not be holding live viewings at a
particular site; participants will attend remotely. There is no charge for this
webinar. To register to view the live webinar and/or the recording, please
complete the Online Registration
To view the webinar, an access code will be provided to all
registrants within two days of the webinar date. You will need a MEDLIB-ED account to participate if
you don’t already have one. These are free to set-up, and you don’t have to be
an MLA member.
CE Credit: As with previous MLA webinars, we received
Region 6 funding for a license that includes 25 CE codes for 25 individuals to
claim 2 contact hours of MLA CE credit. CE codes will be provided on a first
come, first served basis to the first 25 registrants that request it. You
can view the webinar without claiming CE. To claim CE, individuals log-in to
their MEDLIB-ED account, watch the live webinar or recording, complete the
evaluation, and claim CE certificates.
As this is sponsored by MDMLG, our members will receive priority
for the CE codes. Registration will open up to MHSLA members on Friday,
September 23 - so register ASAP if you want CE!
