The Nominating Committee is now accepting nominations for several open positions on the MDMLG Executive Board and the Nominating Committee. Please feel free to nominate yourself for one of the open positions. It’s a great way to get more involved in MDMLG, it looks good on your CV, and you can earn points toward your AHIP certification or renewal.

Executive Board Positions (5-6 meetings a year):
- The President-Elect, at the request of the President or during the President's absence or inability to act, shall perform the duties and exercise the functions of the President and when so acting shall have the powers of the President. The President-Elect shall act as Chair or Co-Chair of the Program and Professional Development Committee. They shall also have such other powers and perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Board, prescribed by these Bylaws or MDMLG's parliamentary authority.
- The Secretary shall maintain the current records of MDMLG, the minutes of the Executive Board and of general meetings of MDMLG. The Secretary may assist in delivery of announcements.
- The Outreach Officer shall be responsible for promotion of the organization within the community and coordination of all internal communication and all other duties as outlined in the procedural document.
The Nominating Committee will nominate candidates for election to the Executive Board. In even-numbered years of the replacement cycle, candidates must be provided to replace the President-Elect, the Treasurer and the Membership Services Officer. In odd-numbered years of 9 the replacement cycle, candidates must be provided to replace the President-Elect, the Secretary and the Outreach Officer. (3-4 meetings a year. Chair attends all executive board meetings and provides brief reports)
