MDMLG Slate of Candidates 2023-2024
The
slate of candidates for the 2023-2024 Executive Board is listed
here: http://mdmlg.org/slate-2023-election.html.
There are no contested positions, so a ballot will not be necessary.
These candidates were approved and presented at the Summer Luncheon on June 22,
2023.
We
also want to include this relevant information from the bylaws:
Nominations
for the Board and the nominating Committee may be made from the membership at
large by petitions signed by no fewer than ten (10) personal members providing
they are submitted in writing to the chair of the Nominating Committee at least
seven (7) days before the election. Petitions must be accompanied by a written
statement of acceptance from the candidate and biographical sketch.

MDMLG Summer Meeting Registration Closed Early
The response to the MDMLG Summer Meeting at Maggiano’s
Little Italy on June 22, 2023, was so positive that have reached the seating
capacity before the registration deadline of June 15th. Therefore, we have
closed registration.
I realize this may be disappointing to some of you. In the
future we will plan for a larger room for in-person functions.
