WELCOME old & new members to the new MDMLG fiscal year!

We will be holding the first General Business Meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, 1:00pm-2:00pm via Zoom. The Zoom link is below.

We will be:

  • ·       Introducing you to the 2023-24 Executive Board
  • Providing an overview of some of the year’s projects and goals
  • Announcing the budget
  • Announcing some upcoming programming and professional development opportunities

Register Now! Mini-MHSLA Annual Business Meeting and Program, September 27th

In place of our annual conference, the MHSLA Board is pleased to present a 1/2 day of virtual activities we're calling "Mini-MHSLA"! MDMLG is sponsoring the webinar as part of the event - many thanks to the MDMLG Program & Professional Development Committee!

Join us via Zoom on Wednesday, September 27th for our annual business meeting, a CE course, and an MLA live webinar! Receive up to 3 MLA CEs for attending!

Mini-MHSLA Schedule:

·  11am - 12pm:    Welcome & MHSLA Annual Board Meeting**

·  12 - 12:15pm:    Break

·  12:15 - 1:45pm: Keynote CE: Paradox in Healthcare Organizations: A Course in Paradox Theory for Medical Librarians Presented by Mary O'Kelly, Western Michigan University (1.5 MLA CEs)**

·  1:45 - 2pm:        Break

·  2:00 - 3:30pm:   MLA Webinar (Live): Keeping It Private: Supporting Research Privacy and De-Identification of Shared Data (1.5 MLA CEs) Co-sponsored by MDMLG. Thanks to MDMLG for applying and receiving funding to host this webinar. CE credit & recording is limited to 25 registrants; link to watch the live webinar is open to all registrants.

**Note: The business meeting and keynote address will be recorded.

Registration Required: There is no cost to attend Mini-MHSLA, however you must register to receive the Zoom meeting link and, post meeting, to receive the recordings and the code to claim your 1.5 CE credits for the "Paradox Theory" CE. CE credits for the MLA webinar are only available to the first 25 registrants who express a need for CE in the registration form.
