We are pleased to announce that Emily Minott, a Wayne State University School of Information Sciences student, has won the 2025-2026 Margaret Danowski Student Scholarship Award!
Emily has a background in education, literacy, and research, and has worked with Teach for America as a first-grade teacher. In her application, Emily stated that she initially applied to the MLIS program at Wayne State University with the intention of focusing on public youth librarianship. After observing medical librarians at work, she is now motivated to pursue medical librarianship.
Please join me in congratulating Emily on winning this award, and we hope to see her at the 2026 Annual Summer Meeting and Luncheon!
